On Sunday, Denny Hamlin came in second place in the Cook Out 400, marking his 18th top-five finish at Richmond Raceway. Fresh off a victory at Pocono, the 42-year-old veteran was in position to go back-to-back, but a brake issue prevented him from passing Chris Buescher, the eventual race-winner. In an interview with NBC Sports, Hamlin admitted, "I drove in way too deep. I was trying to get to the outside there and I really had a great run off Turn 2 in the restart and off Turn 4 again. I was just so close to him there that I wanted to squirt a little extra gas to try and get to the outside and just too much brake." The three-time Daytona 500 champion will look to rebound from this mistake next week at Michigan.--Adam Erhardt - RotoBaller
