Latavius Murray Set To Take Power Role In Saints Offense
5 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Latavius Murray will be picking up where Mark Ingram left off this season. In March, Ingram was traded to the Baltimore Ravens, leaving a hole in the backfield with running back Alvin Kamara. Although there is no longer "Boom and Zoom" in New Orleans, there is hope for head coach Sean Payton's one-two punch strategy. In 2018, Murray finished the season with six touchdowns and 600 yards rushing for the Minnesota Vikings. Most of those numbers came from three really productive games against the Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets and his new team, the New Orleans Saints. Murray will be a good value to fantasy rosters this season, and with a stronger offensive line in front of him, he could be a steal at his current ADP.
