Latavius Murray Sees Clock-Killing Duties In Week 1
6 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Latavius Murray had 42 yards on 11 carries in the Vikings' Week 1 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Murray was sparsely used by the Vikings until later on in the game when the team was attempting to run out the clock. It was evident that Dalvin Cook is the primary back and should see the majority of snaps going forward. Murray only has value as a handcuff to Cook owners, as the notion that the two would be splitting carries has been dispelled.
