Latavius Murray Finds End Zone For Third Straight Week
6 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Latavius Murray performed surprisingly well against a stout New Orleans Saints run defense in Week 8. Murray picked up 56 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. The game script in the second half saw the Saints dominate the time of possession, which effectively crushed Murray's chance at making more of an impact. Regardless, the 28-year-old has been fantastic since Week 6, averaging 93 yards per game with four touchdowns. Even with Dalvin Cook (hamstring) returning in a few weeks, Murray has earned himself a role in the offense. He will be the lead back in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions and is a serviceable RB2 for fantasy purposes.
