Larry Nance Jr. Injured After Five Minutes
2 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward/center Larry Nance Jr. played for only five minutes Saturday against the Knicks after spraining his left ankle. The 30-year-old was later spotted using crutches and having a protective boot on his foot, which is a pretty bad signing regarding his availability for the upcoming games. Nance Jr. has been a good contributor off the bench in all areas for the Pelicans, averaging 7.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.7 blocks and 0.9 steals in 22.3 minutes. Willy Hernangomez should get a chance to log extra minutes with Nance Jr. out. The Spaniard is a very good per-minute player, and fantasy managers should follow the situation closely.
