Larry Fitzgerald Not Considering A Return
3 years agoFree-agent wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald never officially retired, but he said on a SiriusXM podcast that he's not considering a return to the NFL despite the fact that Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee) probably won't return until at least the NFC Championship, if the Cardinals even make it that deep into the postseason. "Nothing's changed on that front, Jim, for me," Fitzgerald said. The 11-time Pro Bowler spent his entire 17-year career with the Cardinals, but it looks like Fitz has unofficially hung up his cleats for good. In 13 games for the Cardinals in 2020, he caught 54 of his 72 targets for 409 yards and one touchdown, and he was no longer the focal point of the offense after putting up nine 1,000-yard receiving seasons.
