Larry Fitzgerald Is A PPR Start In Week 3
4 years agoArizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald has caught 11 of his 12 targets for 84 yards through two games this year. He's averaging just 7.6 yards per reception as he's exclusively been used through short-yardage slot routes. His longest gain on the year is 12 yards. The Cardinals have a favorable matchup against the Detroit Lions in Week 2. Fitzgerald should be able to get open at will in the game. Fellow receiver Christian Kirk (groin) is currently questionable for Week 3 and if he sits, Fitzgerald could see a slight increase in targets. Regardless, Fitzgerald is a great high-floor, low-ceiling WR3 option in PPR leagues in Week 3. In non-PPR, you may need a touchdown from him to be happy with starting him, but this week could be as good a bet as any to see Fitzgerald find paydirt for the first time in 2020.
