Landry Shamet Leads Clippers In Scoring Sunday Night
6 years agoLos Angeles Clippers shooting guard Landry Shamet scored a team-high 17 points in Sunday's 131-104 loss to Golden State, shooting 5-for-8 from the field, including a godly 5-for-6 from downtown. The 22-year-old rookie also had four assists, three rebounds and a block in 31 minutes on the court. Shamet has blown hot and cold during his first campaign, shooting lights-out some nights, but then failing to hit anything. He didn't score a single point Friday night against the Lakers. The Clippers end their regular season on Wednesday against Utah in a tough matchup for shooters. The Jazz and the Pistons are the only teams this season to allow fewer than 10 made triples per game.
