6 years agoNew York Giants safety Landon Collins (shoulder) will go on Injured Reserve and needs surgery for his shoulder injury, according to a source. His procedure will likely take place next week. Collins is one of the better safeties in the NFL and had 96 tackles, a forced fumble and four passes defensed on the year. His loss is one that the Giants secondary can't really afford and it'll make life easier on Redskins quarterback Mark Sanchez in Week 14, although he's unlikely to take advantage of it.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
