Lance McCullers Jr. Throws Long Toss Session
2 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. (forearm) was able to throw a successful long toss session on Sunday. The right-hander appears to be ahead of schedule in his recovery from a low-grade forearm strain. It sounds like the next step is for McCullers to mix offspeed pitches in his bullpen sessions. The hope is that he'll be facing live hitters by early May. Fantasy managers will need to remain patient with the 29-year-old. There still isn't a clear timetable of when McCullers will get back on the mound.
