Lance McCullers Jr. Throws In The Pen Saturday
2 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. (forearm) threw a bullpen session in Seattle on Saturday. He also reportedly hit 90 mph twice, which is certainly good news. The 29-year-old has been out since spring training because of a forearm injury. Fortunately, it was reported weeks ago he's ahead of schedule. However, McCullers can't return soon enough, considering the Astros announced Luis Garcia (elbow) would require Tommy John Surgery. That said, the right-hander still has something to offer fantasy managers. But his inability to remain healthy is an issue.
