1 year agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. (forearm) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Sunday. According to Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle, Sunday's session could be the last before facing hitters in a live batting practice session. If McCullers Jr. continues to progress without any setbacks, then he could be ready for a minor league rehab assignment by late May. The 29-year-old hurler has been dealing with a forearm strain since spring training so it makes sense that the Astros want to be cautious with him.
