Lance Lynn Turns In First Quality Start On Friday
2 years agoChicago White Sox right-hander Lance Lynn had his best outing of the year thus far against the San Francisco Giants on Friday. He pitched six scoreless innings and allowed three hits and two walks while striking out five. He wound up with a no decision in the game. This was Lynn's first quality start of the year and it was the first time he'd held an opponent to under three runs in a start. The 35-year-old is now 1-1 with a 4.05 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP across four starts. His next outing will be against the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday.
