Lance Lynn's Return Date Announced
4 years agoChicago White Sox pitcher Lance Lynn (trapezius) last pitched on April 15 against the Cleveland Indians when he allowed two runs across six innings and struck out an impressive 10 batters. After that start, the White Sox placed Lynn on the injured list with a strained right trapezius. It now appears that the injury will keep Lynn out of action for only three scheduled starts as Chicago is set to activate him for Saturday's game against Cleveland. While back injuries are nothing to slouch at (no pun intended) fantasy managers should expect Lynn to pick up right where he left off on the mound. An elite innings-eater who allowed only two earned runs across three starts with a 0.92 WHIP and 27 strikeouts, Lynn should immediately slot back into starting lineups without hesitation.
