Lance Lynn Placed On Injured List With Knee Inflammation
3 years agoThe Chicago White Sox placed starting pitcher Lance Lynn (knee) on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday due to right knee inflammation. The move is retroactive to August 29. White Sox manager Tony La Russa didn't seem too concerned about the injury. He told reporters that he expects for Lynn to only miss one start. Lynn has had a fantastic season, but he is coming off of his worst start of the year. This past Saturday, he surrendered a season-high seven runs over five innings to the Chicago Cubs. If La Russa's premonition holds true, then Lynn would likely make his next start on Friday, September 10 against the Boston Red Sox.
