Lance Lynn In Midseason Form During Spring Debut
4 years agoChicago White Sox starter Lance Lynn looked sharp in his Cactus League debut earlier this week. Lynn pitched two scoreless innings, walking one and striking out three batters. The veteran hurler made it clear when he landed in Chicago that he didn't like coming out of games- and true to his word, asked to go back out for a third inning during Thursday's outing. Lynn has posted the highest strikeout rates of his career in the last three years while pitching a boatload of innings, a career-high 208 1/3 in 2019, and a league-leading 84 in the shortened 2020 season. He did give up home runs at a startling rate last year, though the juiced ball may have had something to do with that. Lynn's combination of workhorse-ability and swing-and-miss stuff make him a dependable pitcher to target at his 61 ADP.
