3 years agoThe San Francisco Giants placed outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. (knee) on the 10-day injured list on Friday. Fellow outfielder Luis Gonzalez was called up from Triple-A in a corresponding move. Wade had missed each of the team's last two games due to left knee inflammation. Tommy La Stella and Austin Slater have shared leadoff duties since Wade has been out. Gonzalez, meanwhile, only wound up playing one game at Triple-A before being recalled. He homered in that one game, perhaps in defiance to his being sent down this past week despite his .889 OPS with the Giants this year.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
