LaMelo Ball Scores 30 Points With Full Line
4 years agoCharlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball played one of his better all-around games of the season in Monday's loss to Portland. Ball scored 30 points with eight assists, six rebounds, five treys, four steals, and a block in 32 minutes. The 19-year-old has looked like a veteran this season, as he earned the postgame praise of Carmelo Anthony, who knows a thing or two about bursting onto the scene as a rookie. Since being named a starter, Ball has averaged a 20-6-6 line with shooting splits of 46.0/43.0/86.0 percent- congratulations are due if you managed to draft him this season. He'll get a great matchup on Wednesday against the Timberwolves, who allowed him to record a double-double in their first meeting.
