LaMelo Ball Records First Triple-Double Of The Season
3 years agoCharlotte Hornets point guard LaMelo Ball notched his first triple-double of the season in Monday's overtime loss to the Lakers, scoring 25 points on 8-for-19 shooting from the field and picking up a game-high 15 rebounds with 11 assists. He was 3-for-8 with the three-ball and 6-for-6 at the line, while also collecting one steal and one block with three turnovers in 42 minutes. The Hornets now find themselves on a five-game losing streak, but Ball continues to bring it every night, and he's set for another productive outing on Wednesday against Memphis. The Grizzlies are giving up a league-high 10.1 assists per 48 minutes to opposing point guards and have also allowed the 11th-most points in the league to the position.
