LaMelo Ball Questionable On Saturday Night
10 months agoCharlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game versus the visiting 76ers. The Hornets were in action on Friday night against the San Antonio Spurs, with Ball logging 32 minutes and finishing with 28 points. But the 22-year-old is dealing with soreness in his right ankle, the same one he injured at the end of November. Nonetheless, if Ball isn't on the floor for this one, Terry Rozier will presumably absorb most of the ball-handling responsibilities, increasing his usage rate. At the same time, Rozier, along with Miles Bridges, should also get most of the scoring opportunities if Ball isn't in the lineup, with Brandon Miller battling for leftover scraps.
