LaMarcus Aldridge Scores Game-High 33 Points
5 years agoSan Antonio Spurs forward/center LaMarcus Aldridge scored a game-high 33 points on 13-for-25 shooting in Monday's loss to Denver, adding six rebounds, five assists and one steal in 35 minutes of action. Aldridge managed to take 20-plus shots for just the fourth time in 2020 after DeMar DeRozan (back) was a late scratch. He was feeling it all night and even shot 4-for-8 from three-point range. Aldridge has been in very inconsistent form during the team's current road trip, which will have its sixth stop on Tuesday in Oklahoma City. The 34-year-old veteran has been hot in previous games against the Thunder this season, scoring 39 points in the first meeting of the year and registering a 22-point, 12-rebound double-double in the second matchup.
