LaMarcus Aldridge Leads Spurs In Shocking Win Over Lakers
4 years agoSan Antonio Spurs forward/center LaMarcus Aldridge recorded a game-high 28 points on 11-for-18 shooting in Thursday's 118-109 win over the Lakers. He went 3-for-7 from deep, adding five rebounds and three assists in what was his second game back from injury. Aldridge started the season really slow, but maybe he can get going now after nursing left knee soreness for 10 days. His Thursday's performance was certainly ensuring. Aldridge gets the perfect matchup for building momentum, as the Spurs have back-to-back games against the Timberwolves, whose interior defense has been a joke so far. They are allowing centers to shoot 72.5 percent against them and give up 31 points per 48 minutes to the position.
