LaMarcus Aldridge Bullies His Way To 23 Points Versus Raptors
LaMarcus Aldridge muscled his way on the inside to 23 points on 10 of 14 shooting as Serge Ibaka, or any of the Raptors for that matter, did not have an answer for him. Aldridge added five assists but only managed just two rebounds, possibly because DeMar DeRozan was grabbing them all on the night. Aldridge is averaging a solid 28.8 points per game over his last five games on 60.4% shooting but is grabbing just 5.4 rebounds in that span. He does not give owners all the traditional big man numbers, but Aldridge is still having an excellent campaign.

LaMarcus Aldridge Out Again On Sunday
LaMarcus Aldridge (hip) won't play against the Knicks on Sunday. The veteran is currently dealing with a right hip issue, and he's missed two games already as a result. He's expected to be out at least another week, which will allow Nicolas Claxton and James Johnson to get some additional minutes. However, Johnson should be the preferred option for fantasy managers, primarily after posting 16 points and five blocks on Thursday during the win over Philadelphia.

LaMarcus Aldridge Will Miss Next Two Contests
LaMarcus Aldridge (hip) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game vs. Charlotte and Thursday's matchup with the 76ers after undergoing an MRI on his hip. Aldridge has been an integral part of the Nets' second unit for the majority of the season, averaging 13.5 PPG while shooting a career-best 55.4 percent from the floor. Nicolas Claxton and Blake Griffin figure to snag an additional handful of minutes in the frontcourt, while larger offensive roles should fall to Patty Mills and Cam Thomas off Brooklyn's bench. Aldridge's next opportunity to suit up comes Sunday against the Knicks.

LaMarcus Aldridge Won't Play Saturday
LaMarcus Aldridge (ankle) will remain sidelined for Saturday's game against the Miami Heat. It sounds like the veteran big man is going to be sitting out through the All-Star break. That's not good news for his fantasy value with Andre Drummond in town. Drummond should immediately slide into the starting five in Brooklyn Aldridge is going to take a significant hit in value due to the fact Drummond is in the rotation. Fantasy managers can wait and see how they coexist if they want, but Aldridge might not be worth rostering in standard leagues for much longer.

LaMarcus Aldridge Will Be Sidelined Tuesday
LaMarcus Aldridge (ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against Boston as he continues to work his way back from a sprained left ankle. Aldridge's absence is set to mark his fifth in a row, and should pave the way for Blake Griffin to play a significant role in the frontcourt, especially if Nicolas Claxton (hamstring) is ultimately held out as well. Aldridge has been an integral member of the Nets' second unit over his past seven appearances, averaging 14 points and 5.6 boards despite playing just 23.1 minutes on a nightly basis. His next chance to suit up comes Thursday vs. the Wizards.
