Lamar Jackson Records A Season-Long Run Of 22 Yards
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens rookie backup quarterback Lamar Jackson continued his apprenticeship against the Titans in Week 6. Jackson, who was behind center for two snaps in the game, scampered for 22 yards on his last play of the game and almost recorded his first touchdown of his NFL career, coming up a yard and a half short. Running back Alex Collins capped the drive with a two-yard plunge on the very next play. The Louisville product now has racked up 94 yards on the ground on 17 attempts. While he does not currently have any fantasy value, if quarterback Joe Flacco is unable to go at any point this season, Jackson will at least have some experience. “I’m going to be ready regardless,” the 21-year-old said. “Anything to help my team win.”
