Lakers Have Significant interest In Bruce Brown
1 year agoAccording to Mike Singer of the Denver Post, the Los Angeles Lakers have significant interest in guard Bruce Brown. The Lakers can offer Brown the full MLE, which is $12.3 million annually, whereas the Nuggets can only offer Brown up to $7.8 million annually. The 26-year-old guard is coming off a great playoff run and his best statistical season. He averaged 11.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists last season for the Nuggets. The Lakers could look to pry the guard away from the Nuggets with more money and another opportunity for a championship. Eventually, Brown's free agency will be determined by whether he wants a nice payday or to stick with the Nuggets.
