Kyrie Irving Scores Very Inefficient 27 Points Tuesday Night
5 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving registered his eighth game of the year with 25-plus points on Tuesday, but he did it very inefficiently, going 2-for-12 from downtown and 10-for-30 overall from the field. However, despite the ugly shooting night, Kyrie still somehow ended up with a plus-seven rating and a team-high 27 points in an eventual 119-114 loss to Utah. Irving has shot just 23.7 percent from deep across the last five games, so his mechanics seem a bit off at the moment. With that said, things should go smoother on Thursday against the Nuggets, who have found no answer to opposing point guards this season, allowing them to shoot close to 50 percent from the field.
