Kyrie Irving Goes Off For 31 Points And 12 Assists
4 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving went off in his second game back since returning from a short absence. Irving scored 31 points while matching his season-high in assists with 12 in a 120-108 win over the Rockets. The star guard added six rebounds, three triples, and a steal in 39 minutes. Irving had to pick up the slack with James Harden leaving the game due to a hamstring injury- and the former could see a heavy workload once again on Thursday against the Hornets if Harden has to miss time. Irving is averaging a 30-5-5 line with 3.1 triples per game on 51.2/40.6/88.9 percent shooting splits in March- so he could be poised for a monster game on Thursday night.
