Kyrie Irving Drops 45 Points In Thursday's Loss
4 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving was the leading scorer in Thursday's loss to Dallas, going for a season-high 45 points on 17-for-31 shooting. Kevin Durant ended his hot spell with 20 points. Irving was 7-for-13 from the field and 4-for-4 at the charity stripe with five rebounds, four assists, four steals and two blocks. He committed only one turnover in a team-high 39 minutes. Kyrie has dropped 83 points in the past two games and KD just had back-to-back outings with 42 points, but the Nets find themselves on a four-game losing run ahead of a trip to Denver. The Nuggets have had their fair share of struggles against point guards throughout the campaign, so Irving's hot scoring streak should continue, but it remains to be seen if it results in a victory.
