2 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving (suspension) has a chance of returning on Sunday versus the visiting Grizzlies, according to ESPN senior NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski. The multi-time All-Star won't play on Thursday against Portland, his eighth consecutive absence, for failing to apologize for posting a link to an antisemitic film. Outside of Irving's hideous 28.0% shooting from deep, he's had a fantastic season, averaging 26.9 points, 5.1 assists, 5.1 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.1 blocks. Nonetheless, if he's not in the lineup for the meeting with Memphis, Edmond Sumner should continue to benefit, with the 26-year-old logging 11.6 points and 1.7 steals in seven starts in 2022-23.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
