Kyren Williams - Week 2 Outlook for Fantasy Football
1 year agoLos Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams has an opportunity to surpass Cam Akers as the team's lead back. In their Week 1 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, Williams had 15 carries and two targets, netting 52 total yards and two rushing touchdowns. While Akers did have 22 carries, it resulted in just 29 rush yards and one touchdown, averaging a dreadful 1.3 yards per carry. It is also important to note that Williams played 53 offensive snaps while Akers played just 28. Williams has a brutal matchup in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers, who limited the Steelers offense to 41 rushing yards in Week 1. The second-year back out of Notre Dame should be rostered in every fantasy league and is a low-end RB3 option against one of the league's top defenses, the 49ers.
