10 months agoThe Los Angeles Angels are calling up infield prospect Kyren Paris from Double-A Rocket City when rosters expand on Friday. MLB Pipelines No. 6 prospect in the Angels system, the 21-year-old slashed .255/.393/.417 in the minors this year with 14 homers and a whopping 44 steals. He has had strikeout issues, but clearly has a nice power/speed combo that could play well in fantasy. He'll likely see plenty of playing time as the Angels just waived a bunch of their starting players and also have run into a plethora of injuries. They likely want to see what Paris has before the 2024 season, so expect a lot of at-bats down the stretch. He should just be watched for now in most formats, but in deeper leagues he might be worth a flier.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
