Kyler Murray Aims To Be Ready For Week 1
1 year agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (knee) continues to rehab from a torn ACL he suffered on Dec. 12 last year, but he's set a personal expectation of being ready to return to action by Week 1 this fall. "When you look further down the line, it seems like we got a long way to go. Ideally, I want to be back by Week 1," Murray said. "That's the goal. At the end of the day, that's the goal, but I can't really look that far ahead. Got to take it one day at a time." When healthy in 2022, Murray completed 66.4% of his passes for 2,368 yards, 14 TDs and seven interceptions while adding 418 yards and three TDs on the ground in 11 starts. Despite the 25-year-old's goal to be ready by Week 1, fantasy managers need to be a bit more realistic. It's more likely that he'll miss at least the first quarter of the 2023 season.
