Kyle Wright Scheduled To Make Rehab Start Wednesday
2 years agoAtlanta Braves right-hander Kyle Wright (shoulder) is scheduled for a rehab start Wednesday for Triple-A Gwinnett. The 27-year-old was placed on the injured list earlier in the week due to right shoulder inflammation. If all goes well with his rehab outing on Wednesday, he will miss a few turns in the rotation and could come off the injured list when first eligible. Wright posted a 3.19 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and a 174:53 K: BB across 180 1/3 innings in 2022. Jared Shuster will continue to fill in Atlanta's rotation while Wright is sidelined. The Braves No. 10 prospect, Shuster, can be used as a streamer in a favorable matchup against the Nationals on Sunday.
