Kyle Wright Lit Up By The Mets
6 years agoAtlanta Braves starter Kyle Wright surrendered six runs on eight hits through 3 2/3 innings on Friday during a 6-2 loss to the New York Mets. Wright walked four batters while striking out three. The 23-year-old has been wholly ineffective through the early portion of the 2019 season. He owns a 0-2 record to go along with a 7.07 ERA, 1.79 WHIP, and 11/10 K/BB rate. Wright has failed to inspire confidence in fantasy owners and may be at risk of losing his rotation spot when Mike Foltynewicz (elbow) returns in little over a week. Leave Wright as waiver wire fodder ahead of his next (and likely last) start against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
