Kyle Tucker Collects Three Hits On Monday
4 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Kyle Tucker went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Monday's 5-4 win over the Mets. Tucker's three base-hits raised his spring average to .300- and he's starting to get rolling, with two multi-hit games in his last three contests. The 24-year-old also sports an impressive six walks compared to three strikeouts in 13 Grapefruit League games. At first glance, Tucker's 40 ADP seems like an obvious overpay, given that he's posted a rather unimpressive .244/.306/.459 slash line in just 108 career games over three seasons. However, his Triple-A statistics from 2019 tell you all you need to know about his potential upside- 92 runs, 34 homers, 97 RBI, 30 stolen bases, and a .266 average. Tucker has potential as a five-category contributor, though you'll be more or less paying for what he's capable of rather than what he's done at his third-round price tag.
