Kyle Stowers Promoted For MLB Debut Monday
2 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles have selected the contract of outfielder Kyle Stowers from Triple-A Norfolk. He will be making his MLB debut in Monday night's game against right-hander Alek Manoah and the Toronto Blue Jays. He is slated to play left field and bat eighth in the game. The 24-year-old is ranked as the team's No. 8 overall prospect by MLB Pipeline. He has had a fantastic year at Triple-A, slashing .253/.356/.545 with 12 home runs, 34 RBI and 30 runs over 49 games. Stowers is filling the roster spot of fellow outfielder Anthony Santander, who was placed on the restricted list ahead of Monday's game. Stowers may not remain on the team once Santander returns, but he's certainly worth scouting on Monday for anyone in dynasty leagues.
