Kyle Schwarber Stays Hot With 24th Homer
4 months agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Kyle Schwarber stayed scorching hot in Tuesday's victory versus the Los Angeles Dodgers. The outfielder went 2-for-5 on the evening, including a home run and stolen base. Schwarber has been swinging a red-hot bat of late, with 16 hits over his last 43 at-bats to go along with five homers, 11 RBI and a stolen base. The slugger is streaky, but can be a big difference maker when he is on a heater. For the season, he is now hitting .253 with 24 homers, 66 RBI, 76 runs and five stolen bases. Leading off for one of the better lineups in the league, providing the power he does, managers should be happy rostering one of the hottest bats in the league right now.
