Kyle Schwarber Hits Two More Bombs In Rout Over Diamondbacks
1 year agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder/designated hitter Kyle Schwarber continued his all-or-nothing ways in the 10-0 rout over the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday night in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series to help the Phils take a commanding two games to none lead in the best-of-seven series. Schwarber went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs, three runs scored and a walk in the game. The 30-year-old left-handed slugger has now gone deep in back-to-back games after not doing much at the plate in the wild-card series or the NLDS against the Miami Marlins and Atlanta Braves, respectively. Schwarber had 47 long balls in 160 regular-season games, although he also hit just .197 (115-for-585).
