Boston Red Sox outfielder Kyle Schwarber came through with his first Beantown home run Wednesday night, delivering a game-tying two-run shot in the bottom of the ninth. He went 3-for-6 in the extra-inning loss. Schwarber has picked up right where he left off in Boston, slashing .379/.514/.586 in his first 37 plate appearances with the club. He now has 26 home runs on the year, and should be a top-end power threat going forward.--Doug Goldring

Philadelphia Phillies designated hitter Kyle Schwarber went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in a 7-2 win over the Nationals on Wednesday. It was his ninth home run of the season, and he is now slashing .245/.398/.538 on the season. The slugger has taken a step forward in plate discipline through the first month of the year, as his 18.0% walk rate and 21.8% strikeout rate are both better than their 2024 counterparts of 15.3% and 28.5%, respectively. He is also seeing more time in the cleanup spot instead of being the primary leadoff hitter, which has allowed him to drive in 23 runs in 30 games. He remains one of the premier sources of power for fantasy.--Jeremy Heist - RotoBaller

Philadelphia Phillies designated hitter Kyle Schwarber is making the start in left field and will bat third for the Phillies on Wednesday against the visiting San Francisco Giants and left-hander Robbie Ray at Citizens Bank Park. Schwarber made only five starts in the outfield last year, and this will be his first start in the outfield in 2025. The 32-year-old left-handed slugger has had a strong start to his fourth season in Philadelphia, as he enters Wednesday's contest slashing .267/.421/.617 with a 1.038 OPS, a league-leading six home runs, a double, triple, 12 RBI, a stolen base and 15 runs scored in his first 17 games played. Fantasy managers shouldn't be getting their hopes up that Schwarbs will suddenly regain outfield eligibility this year. In DFS contests, fantasy managers will probably want to avoid the power threat against a tough lefty. Schwarber is hitless in four career at-bats against Ray.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Philadelphia Phillies designated hitter Kyle Schwarber went 1-for-5 with a home run and a walk in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Atlanta Braves. The 32-year-old walloped a Spencer Schwellenbach fastball 429 feet over the right-center field wall in the top of the third to tie the game at one. It was his sixth long ball of the season, tying him with New York Yankees' Aaron Judge and the Athletic's Tyler Soderstrom for the league lead. Schwarber has been excellent in 2025, bolstering a .283/.411/.739 slash line with 12 RBI and 12 runs scored. The lefty slugger bears a robust 61.8% hard-hit rate and 96.8 mph exit velocity, placing him in the top 3% of all MLB hitters in both metrics.--Alex Ciulla

Philadelphia Phillies designated hitter Kyle Schwarber went 3-for-3 with a home run and a triple in Tuesday's 7-5 loss to the Atlanta Braves. He drove in three runs, scored twice, and drew a walk in the contest. Schwarber had another two hard-hit balls in this one -- both off Braves pitcher Chris Sale. His triple was a 105.1 MPH laser that bounced off the base of the right-center-field wall. Then, he blasted a Sale four-seam fastball 462 feet at 116.7 MPH over the right field wall in the top of the fifth inning. The 32-year-old has been blistering at the dish, batting .324 (12-for-37) with one double, one triple, and five homers -- tying him for second in the MLB.--Alex Ciulla
