Kyle Schwarber Goes Deep Twice In Loss To Nats
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Kyle Schwarber put on a power display against his former team, the Washington Nationals, in an 8-7 loss on Friday night. Serving as the Phils' leadoff man and designated hitter, Schwarber went 2-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI, two runs scored, a walk and a strikeout. Schwarber's fantasy managers are getting all-or-nothing results from the 30-year-old left-handed slugger, as he's hitting just .182 (81-for-444) on the year with 32 long balls, 77 RBI and 73 runs scored in 121 games (542 plate appearances). In the month of August, he's gone 10-for-54 (.185) with five home runs, 12 RBI, 20 strikeouts and 11 runs scored in 15 starts.
