Kyle Rudolph A Mid-Tier TE1 Option In Week 9
6 years agoMinnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph saw seven targets in Week 8 and had a touchdown grab negated by a holding penalty. It has been a quiet season for the Notre Dame alum, but Rudolph could be in line for a solid performance in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions. The Lions have given up the eighth-most fantasy points to tight ends this season. Stefon Diggs (ribs) remains questionable for the contest, so Rudolph could see an increased role in the passing game if Diggs sits out. While it is unlikely that he puts up a monster stat line, there is more optimism surrounding Rudolph this week than weeks prior. He is a mid-tier TE1 for Week 9 with increased value surrounding Diggs' injury.
