Kyle Pitts Draws Favorable Matchup Against Eagles
3 years agoAtlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts draws a favorable matchup in his first career NFL start against the Eagles. The fourth overall pick in the draft, Pitts used his rare combination of size, speed, and athleticism to make big-time plays for the Florida Gators, posting the most contested catches in the nation by a tight end since 2014. The Falcons have kept the 20-year-old in bubble wrap for the preseason- though they haven't been coy about the fact that they plan to line him up all over the formation, which should give him plenty of chances to produce solid fantasy numbers, starting in Week 1 against Philadelphia. The Eagles defense allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to tight ends, making Pitts an easy upside TE1 option right out of the gate in a game with shootout potential.
