Kyle Pitts Catches 27-Yard Pass Sunday
3 years agoAtlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts caught his lone target of the game for 27 receiving yards in Sunday's defeat to the Browns. Pitts saw his first action of the preseason and needed just one play to show the tools that made him the fourth pick in the draft. The athletic tight end caught a short pass and quickly turned the burners on, speeding upfield for 27 yards before it took several defenders to bring him down. The Falcons kept Pitts in bubble wrap for much of the preseason, though he is expected to play a large role in the offense this season. He currently carries an overall TE4 price tag in both standard and PPR formats. That's a lot of draft capital to spend on a rookie, though Pitts is expected to line up both as a tight end and out wide in a multi-faceted role that will feed him plenty of targets, particularly in the red zone.
