1 year agoNew York Islanders right wing Kyle Palmieri (undisclosed) has started skating again, but it's still unclear when he can start practicing again. The 32-year-old suffered an unspecified injury during pre-training camp workouts. Palmieri has averaged 0.5 points per game for the Islanders across two and a half seasons, and he would certainly be missed if he can't start the season with the team. The season opener is scheduled for the Islanders against Buffalo on Oct. 14. Hudson Fasching has been skating in Palmieri's spot on the second line in training camp.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
