Kyle Lowry Scores 15 Points In Preseason Opener
6 years agoToronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry led all starters in scoring in Saturday's preseason opener against Portland, getting 15 points on 3-for-6 shooting in a convincing 122-104 win. He did most of his damage from the charity stripe, sinking all eight freebies. Lowry also had four rebounds and one steal in 19 minutes, committing one turnover. The experienced point guard shot a lackluster 42.7 percent from the floor last season, so the performance against Blazers was an encouraging sign. He has a new partner in crime this season with Kawhi Leonard and it's possible that he could have more success playing alongside him compared to the times with DeMar DeRozan.
