Kyle Larson Scores Second Victory Of 2023
2 years agoLate in the NOCO 400 race on Sunday, the Hendrick Motorsports team for Kyle Larson gambled on a two-tire pit stop, and it paid off. The late-race decision allowed Larson to pass Joey Logano with 30 laps remaining in the race to take the lead. It was a lead he would not relinquish, taking his No. 5 Chevrolet to victory lane. Larson was able to drive away from Logano at the end of the final stage, finishing 4.142 seconds ahead of Logano. Larson now joins teammate William Byron as the only two multiple-race winners of the year.
