Kyle Larson Going Overlooked At Martinsville
3 weeks agoHeading into the Xfinity 500 race weekend, most sportsbooks pegged Kyle Larson as the favorite to win, but that noise has quieted down a bit now that practice and qualifying are complete. Larson had a relatively quiet Saturday at "The Paperclip," ranking just 30th-fastest in overall speed in practice and qualifying ninth for Sunday's big race. However, you definitely shouldn't count out Larson from getting the win on Sunday. The No. 5 Chevrolet ranked fourth-fastest when it came to 30-lap average during practice, and "Yung Money" has finished first or second in three of the last four races at this track. He's quite expensive on DraftKings this weekend ($11,500), but with how little people are talking about him, that could be an excellent position to pivot to Larson with your DFS lineups on Sunday. Although most eyes are looking toward his Hendrick teammates of Chase Elliott and William Byron when it comes to the win this weekend, Larson is more than capable of getting another grandfather clock at Martinsville and locking himself into the Championship Four on Sunday. Larson has the best average running position at Martinsville over the five Next Gen races.
