Thus far, the Phoenix weekend has been Kyle Larson's playground. The driver of the #5 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports went out on Friday and put down the fastest single lap in practice in addition to the best 5-, 10-, 15-, 20-, 25-, and 30-lap averages. In qualifying on Saturday, Larson was in a ZIP code of his own in the first session before narrowly beating out Denny Hamlin for the pole in the final round. The last time that Kyle Larson won the pole here at Phoenix--in the 2021 finale--he led 107 laps en route to victory lane (and a Championship). Larson definitely looks to have the best car heading into Sunday's United Rentals 500(k) and should be at or near the front for most of the race.--Jordan McAbee
