Kyle Kuzma Scores Team-High 23 Points
4 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma scored a team-high 23 points in Saturday's 96-94 loss to Miami, shooting 8-for-21 from the field and 4-for-11 from downtown. It wasn't a great shooting night by Kuzma, but both teams struggled to score efficiently, and the Lakers even ended up with a lowly 39 percent shooting for the game. LeBron James was 7-for-21 from the field with 19 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists. Kuzma added four boards to his tally in 34 minutes. Anthony Davis' (calf) injury has given Kuzma a chance to gobble up more minutes and he's done a decent job so far. The 25-year-old looks set for a productive week, as Washington and Portland -- two awful defensive teams - are among the Lakers' four opponents.
