Kyle Juszczyk Benefits From Niners Injuries
6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Kyle Juszczyk netted six of seven targets for 75 yards in Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals, adding one rush for 12 yards. With Matt Breida (ankle) injured and the Niners trailing, Juszczyk was quarterback C.J. Beathard’s security blanket, finishing third in targets. He now has 14 catches on the year for 197 yards and appears to be the preferred passing-down-back in San Francisco. With Breida week-to-week, Juszczyk won’t get many rushing touches but should be in a timeshare with Alfred Morris in the backfield. Fantasy speculators must acknowledge the risk of a very low floor but he could be a deep-league PPR asset heading into Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers.
